The pivCLASS R15 serves to authenticate 13.56 MHz iCLASS SE, DESFire EV1 SE, MIFARE Classic SE Cards in the most compact way possible. With a dimension of 1.9" x 6.0" x 0.9" and weighing in at slightly under 5.4 ounces, the pivCLASS R15 is easily one of, if not the most compact and unobtrusive designed card reader available. Its current draw (normal standby current) is an impressive 60mA, with a maximum average of 100mA and standard peak setting at 200 mA. Operating voltage range is also the standard +12VDC that is seen across the board with these types of readers.
