The Indala CASI-Rusco Compatible Proximity Card line offers an extremely versatile solution for an identity verification policy based on smart card technology, and it includes cards in multiple form factors (Clamshell, CASI-style, Composite, and Imageable cards), as well as a keyfob that can be easily attached to a key ring or badge lanyard.
The CX-CRD card has a durable clamshell design which supports printable adhesive overlays. The CX-PL5 model is equivalent to the CASI ProxLite card, and it has a durable and rigid construction. Both the CX-ISO and the CX-ISOXT cards are compliant with ISO7813 standards. The CX-ISOXT card combines the light build of a thin card with the extreme durability of composite-body construction, and allows direct printing (it is directly imageable using direct-to-card printers). It is the same size as a credit card with a flexible design for convenient pocket or wallet storage.
The cards are fully compatible with the CASI proximity card 125 kHz technology, and offer up to a 5" read range (up to 2" for the CX-KEY keyfob.) Additionally, for maximum compatibility, both the Composite and Imageable card products offer support for Magnetic and Wiegand stripes, as well as a contact smart chip.
These cards also offer the possibility to support the latest 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology. With support for these newer high frequency standards (available in both the Composite and Imageable cards), the seamless integration of both CASI and 13.56 MHz proximity card technology in the same physical card is possible. This allows your organization to migrate to the newer high frequency proximity cards while supporting your existing base of legacy 125 kHz proximity cards.
