Like all the other members of the CX Series of the Indala Prox proximity credentials, the HID Indala CXISO is designed for use with readers in the CASI ProxLite series. It is an ISO-thin proximity card that can be photo-imaged and is available with an optional magnetic stripe.
This card uses CASI technology and is factory pre-programmed with a unique 12 digit ID number using random F/2F coding. Typically, the card number is read and stored in the CASI software when the card is issued to an employee. A key benefit of this pre-programming is that the manufacturer guarantees these cards are never duplicated with any other card in the field.
The CX-ISO has a number of options: embedded 3-track magnetic stripe with high coercivity (4000 or 2750 Oersted), Wiegand swipe, 13.56 MHz technology, contact smart chip and MIFARE technology support.
The standard dimensions of Indala's CX ISO Card are 3.38" height by 2.12" width by 0.03" thickness (86mm x 54mm x 0.76mm) with a weight of 0.20 oz. (6 grams). It has an operating temperature range of -22 F to 122 F (-30 to 60 C) and comes with a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
