The HID CX-IXT smartcard is designed and manufactured with the same high quality standards that business has come to expect from the Indala Prox line. The CXIXT blends the convenience of a flexible thin card while maintaining the durability of a standard thick card. The CXIXT is 3.38"H x 2.13"W x 0.03"T (86 mm x 54 mm x 0.76 mm) and weighs just 6 grams. The CX-IXT operates in temperature of -22 to 149 F (-30 to 65 C).
Constructed of durable composite material, this smartcard can be customized with a photo ID, a variety of anti-counterfeiting options designed to enhance security, and an adhesive overlay. Additionally, the card may be printed with custom artwork on the back and front to include a company logo or some other unique design.
The standard front finish is glossy white. The back of the card is glossy white with the Indala logo; the lower right hand corner of the back of the card and includes the batch code.
The CX-IXT smartcard is compatible with the CASI ISO ProxLite line and all 13.56 MHz contactless smartcard technologies. The CXIXT features an optional embedded 3-track high coercivity magnetic stripe (4000 or 2750 oersted). It is factory programmed with a 12-digit ID number, and the batch code is included on a printed strip on the backside of the card. Coding is random f/2f. The card may be secured with CX Premier, a cost effective anti-counterfeiting element.
The CX-IXT smartcard has a read range of up to 5 inches (12.7cm).
