HID OMNIKEY 5427 CK Readers

The OMNIKEY 5427 CK is a contactless card reader that provides an easy, straightforward method of retrieving information from cards. The keyboard wedge feature includes customizable input and output fields, prestrike and post-stroke shortcuts and definitions, and multiple output transformations, including BCD, DEC, HEX, and ASCII.

The OMNIKEY 5427 CK is compatible with WINDOWS XP/Vista/7, LINUX Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, and MAC Leopard or higher operating systems, and does not require drivers to function for the vast majority of these. This allows the user to just "plug and play" by connecting the reader to any computer via USB 2.0, without worrying about installing or keeping software up to date.

This card reader transmits at 12 Mbps to both low and high frequency cards, allowing for continuous integration into workplace environments of all types. Dual color white and blue LED and programmable buzzers allows for quick and easy visual and tactile feedback for monitoring the status of the OMNIKEY 5427 CK card reader. It is also FCC, RoHS (REACH), UL, WEEE, CE, and ICES compliant.

At only 3.53 ounces, 2.79 inches across, 3.66 inches wide, and less than 1 inch thick, this card reader provides a compact solution to modern workplaces. The OMNIKEY 5427 CK comes in black with a light grey body shell and includes a USB Type A connector and removable card holder for easy card present operation.
