HID MaxiProx Readers

The HID MaxiProx 5375 Reader is a 125 KHz long range reader which is characterized by its reliable long range operation, and for advanced features targeted to ensure the reliable detection of vehicles in parking lanes and similar environments.

This reader boasts cutting-edge features designed to maintain long read range distances and reading accuracy. Autotune allows for read ranges to not be compromised by the difficult conditions or reading from vehicles, while allowing installation of the reader within 4 inches of metal. To optimize functionality in parking and similar environments, the 'parking hold' enables accurate detection of vehicles via a loop detector connection. Similarly, it is possible to install two MaxiProx readers in 'HI-LO' configurations within a meter of each other, for simultaneous truck and car detection.

While read ranges vary by application based on the specific type of magnetic support used, they range from 13' for ProxCard Plus Card use, to up to 6 feet with ProxPass Active Vehicle Tags.

The MaxiProx 5375 Reader is compatible with virtually every HID card and tag supporting formats up to 85 bits. Compatibility is maintained at the interface level. This reader supports both Wiegand and Clock-and-Data interfacing. It also supports a number of serial protocols, such as RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485.

This rugged reader is embedded in a weatherproof enclosure which allows for both indoor and outdoor operation, and it works on power sources between 12 and 24 VDC, configurable by the end user. The multicolor LED and beeper are fully configurable. This reader is offered with a lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and manufacturing.
