Weighing it at just 6.8g, the 100% PVC 252x extends the functionality of the 232x series with HID proximity capabilities without any increase in weight.
One of the most versatile cards on the market today, the 252x series supports iCLASS, MIFARE, and MIFARE DESFire EV1. Options include a magnetic stripe, HID custom artwork and visual security options. Corporate 1000 and iCLASS Elite is supported, and the card can be upgraded to the next gen iCLASS SE platform.
Available as a PET/PVC card, the HID 252x series offers a minimum of 100,000 writes and data retention of 10 years, along with a lifetime warranty. Like all HID proximity cards, read range is excellent up to 5 inches using HID Proximity.
There is a wealth of choice when it comes to memory size and application areas in the 252x series. The most basic model offers a useful 2K in 2 application areas for the iCLASS, 1K for MIFARE Classic or 8K for MIFARE DESFIRE EV1. If you need more memory, both iCLASS and MIFARE Classic can be upgraded to 32K with more application areas.
