HID 213 iCLASS plus Prox Embeddable Cards

Making access control secure and convenient, the HID iCLASS Prox Embeddable Card combines the technologies of Prox and iCLASS to give you more versatility to use across many applications.

The 203x card comes in a few configurations with different amounts of EEPROM memory. The following cards are available in the iCLASS embeddable range:

• 2030 - memory: 2k-bit, application areas: 2
• 2031 - memory: 16k-bit, application areas: 2
• 2031 - memory: 16k-bit, application areas: 16
• 2032 - memory: 32k-bit, application areas: 16k/2 plus 16k
• 2033 - memory: 32k-bit, application areas: 16k/16 plus 16k

Composite PVC/PET versions are 2130, 2031, 2132, 2133 and 2134 respectively.

You can choose a variety of options such as customized graphics, vertical slot punch, a magnetic stripe, and an embedded contact smart chip of your choosing.

Expect a minimum of 100,000 read and write cycles, and a fast transaction time of less than 100ms. Data can be secured with DES or triple DES encryption. Depending on the installation conditions you choose, the typical read range can range anywhere between 2 to 4 inches.

The card operates in two modes according to the ISO/IEC standard, 14443B (available only for the 16k bit models, 106 kbps baud rate, read/write RF interface) and 15693 (26 kbps baud rate, read/write RF interface).

The thin PVC construction and light 6.8 gram weight of the card allows the 203x to fit in your wallet alongside your other credit cards and keys. The 203x is a versatile and popular embeddable Prox iCLASS card.
