HID iCLASS SE R10 Readers

With Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) standardization, the SE R10 features bidirectional communication capability, as well as built-in compatibility across multiple platforms. It is designed to be able to support future technological development even while making the most of communication with current systems and platforms.

The device is compatible with standard iCLASS, iCLASS Seos, and iCLASS SE platforms, as well as with MIFARE and MIFARE DESFire EV1. The reader is also equipped with Seos, which allows it to communicate with Near Field Communication (NFC) smartphones to allow for new levels of portable identity confirmation.

This device provides the benefits of HID's Trusted Identity Platform and Secure Identity Object data model, meaning all information is protected by multiple levels of card technology. Tamper-proof EAL5+ secure element hardware offers an extra level of physical assurance as well. SIO data binding prevents the cloning of data, and the iCLASS Elite Program increases protection with programming update keys and keyed credentials.

The SE R10 weighs less than 4 ounces. It measures 1.9 x 4.1 x 0.9 inches and is available in black or gray. Read range varies from 1.2 to 2.8 inches depending on the platforms in use along with it and the specific details of the physical arrangement.
