Proximity Cards

Typically used for physical access control, a proximity card (sometimes referred to as a smart card) can also be used for a range of applications such as logical access and cashless vending. Proximity card credentials come in different form factors, including printable cards, key fobs, tags and vehicle transponders. Proximity cards can be programmed in many different bit structures and formats. The most common are 26-bit, 34-bit and 37-bit.

HID compatible credentials can be an ideal solution for those customers that are price sensitive, looking for a faster lead-time, and have a proprietary format (i.e. 34-bit). Another benefit from HID compatible credentials is that there is no minimum order, however, some restrictions apply so please contact us for more information.
