The Indala 125 kHz proximity reader is equipped with FlexSecur technology for the ultimate in access system security. This system forces verification processing at the reader. The FlexSecur system has the ability to screen out unauthorized cards before sending access control information to the host system. This is a unique feature in the HID Indala product line. With this additional step in the verification process the Indala access system provides enhanced security.
The entire data field of the card is encrypted before the card is programmed. For this reason, it is not possible to decode the card data in an attempt to decipher the actual information contained on the card. Decryption and transmission of data to the access control system can only be done by the reader.
Both readers and cards can be uniquely programmed for every site. This protects end-users from unauthorized entry attempts at other facilities.
The Indala 125 kHz proximity reader works equally well indoors or outdoors and is compatible with all types of Indala 125 kHz tags and cards. In appearance, it matches HIDs Indala arch bezel design.
