HID Fargo DTC4500e ID Card Printers

The Fargo DTC4500e color card printer is designed for high-volume printing. It features dye-sublimation/resin thermal transfer print technologies with direct-to-card printing to provide professional quality, full-color credentials in a printer built to withstand the daily demands of high-volume card printing. It is designed for medium-to-large sized organizations, schools, and government institutions looking for a reliable, long-term solution.

The DTC4500e card printer has a modular design which allows you to add capabilities as you need. For instance, you can start with the base model that features color, single-sided card printing. You can then add the dual-sided card printing module if you need to print on both sides of a card. Similarly, if you need to add either magnetic stripe encoding and/or smart card encoding, you can add the corresponding module. Other optional modules include a Wi-Fi accessory that allows you to print wirelessly.

In addition to its broad range of capabilities, this printer was designed with card security and durability in mind. It has additional security features such as password protection and data decryption, locking dual-card hoppers for managing different card stocks, and optional holographic or fluorescent (UV) overlaminates that can significantly increase card durability.
