The Fargo DTC4250e Card Printer is a professional-grade printer/encoder that provides flexible, easy, reliable color printing and encoding of contact and contactless smart cards.

One of the key features of the DTC4250 is its flexible and modular design which allows you to add functionality as you need. Options include:

• Wi-Fi: add wireless capability to allow printing anytime, anywhere
• Dual-Sided Card Printing: print on both sides of a card with a single pass
• Magnetic Stripe Encoding
• Smart Card Encoding

The DTC4250 allows you to choose from two types of ribbons: the all-in-one ribbon cassette (EZ ribbons) or the more economical and eco-friendly refill ribbon (ECO ribbons). You can also add a same-side, input/output card hopper which holds 200 cards for higher capacity printing and encoding.

Lastly, the DTC4250e also features new security enhancements, such as the embedded iCLASS SE smart card encoder for encoding organizational or personnel data directly onto the card; AES-256 data decryption for protection of financial information; and an Ultraviolet (UV) overlaminate layer printed directly onto the card to increase card durability. The DTC4250e can also be password protected so only approved operators can print and encode security cards and visitor badges.
