The cardPresso suite of card design and printing software consists of 5 different editions ranging from a basic entry-level edition (XXS) to a complete full-featured, multi-user edition (XXL).
cardPresso is now bundled with select versions of Evolis ID card printers and is the Card Design product we recommend for use with Evolis printers.
The XXS edition is cardPresso's entry-level product and has basic features for card design and printing including predefined templates and support for signature acquisition, Barcodes 1D, WIA/TWAIN and DirectShow acquisition as well as magnetic stripe encoding.
The XS edition adds, among other features, support for QR codes, .XLS, .CSV and .TXT database connection, database view and link image to database field.
The XM edition adds, among other features, local Microsoft Access connection, Photo on database, FaceCrop tool for face recognition and 2D barcodes.
The XL edition adds, among other features, support for ODBC connections, RFID Contactless direct encoding, Smartcard plug-in, Multi-Layout card designs, Conditional printing, Operation Logs.
The XXL edition adds advanced features like DESFire support, a Web Print Server and network license for up to 16 PCs.
